Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and emotional support while ensuring patient dignity, comfort, and safety at all times.
• Monitor vital signs, observe patient recovery progress, and promptly report any medical concerns to doctors and senior staff.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments accurately while following prescribed medical protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain updated patient records, nursing documentation, and digital entries in hospital management systems.
• Assist doctors during patient examinations, medical procedures, surgeries, and emergency situations.
• Follow strict hygiene, sterilization, and infection-control practices to maintain a safe and healthy healthcare environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• ANM / GNM / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TNNMC) or relevant nursing authority.
• Fluency in Tamil required; working knowledge of English for medical communication and documentation (knowledge of Chettinad regional culture or dialects is an added advantage).
• Strong clinical knowledge, empathy, teamwork, and the ability to work in rotational shifts.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hospital software and patient-monitoring systems.

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare centers preferred.
• Freshers with valid registration and strong academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in ICU, Emergency, Pediatrics, Surgical, or Maternity departments is an added advantage.
