Driver

We are looking for a professional, safety-conscious, and reliable Driver to join our team in Karaikudi, a rapidly developing city in Tamil Nadu known for its strong regional connectivity, cultural heritage, and expanding commercial activities. You will play an important role in ensuring safe, comfortable, and timely transportation for staff, clients, and operational travel across the city and nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles responsibly while strictly following traffic regulations and road safety standards to ensure passenger safety at all times.
• Plan efficient travel routes for local and outstation trips to destinations such as Madurai, Trichy, Rameswaram, and nearby towns, ensuring punctuality and smooth travel.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections including fuel, engine oil, coolant, brakes, tire pressure, and battery checks while maintaining the vehicle in clean and presentable condition.
• Greet passengers courteously, assist with luggage, and provide basic local guidance when required.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, toll receipts, and ensure all vehicle documents (Insurance, RC, Permit, PUC) remain valid and updated.
• Practice safe and defensive driving, especially during heavy traffic, monsoon conditions, or long-distance travel, ensuring maximum passenger comfort and safety.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Permanent Driving License (LMV/HMV as applicable).
• Good knowledge of Karaikudi city routes, nearby highways, and regional road connectivity across Tamil Nadu.
• Fluency in Tamil required; basic English communication skills are an advantage.
• Punctual, disciplined, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining a professional attitude.
• Ability to handle minor vehicle troubleshooting and confidently use GPS/navigation applications.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience as a professional driver for corporate offices, travel agencies, institutions, or private employers preferred.
• Experience in long-distance, intercity, and highway driving is highly valued.
