Cleaner

We are looking for a responsible, hardworking, and reliable Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our team in Karaikudi, a culturally rich and steadily developing city in Tamil Nadu known for its traditional hospitality, heritage architecture, and growing commercial and educational infrastructure. You will play an important role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize rooms, office spaces, reception areas, corridors, washrooms, and common areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Perform daily sweeping, mopping, dusting, and periodic deep cleaning of floors, furniture, windows, and other surfaces.
• Ensure proper waste collection, segregation, and disposal according to local sanitation and municipal guidelines.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, linens, and housekeeping materials to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Follow health and safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly, including placing caution signs where necessary.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and other housekeeping tools efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic literacy to understand cleaning instructions, labels, and safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with cleaning materials, housekeeping practices, and equipment handling is preferred.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform routine manual cleaning tasks effectively.
• Honest, disciplined, detail-oriented, and polite in workplace interactions.
• Fluency in Tamil required (knowledge of regional dialects or basic English communication is an added advantage).

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in housekeeping, facility maintenance, or cleaning roles preferred.
• Experience in hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, offices, or guest houses is an added advantage.
• Freshers with dedication, discipline, and a strong commitment to cleanliness are encouraged to apply.
