Fuel Operator

We are looking for a reliable, alert, and customer-focused Fuel Operator (Petrol Pump Attendant) to join our service team in Orai, a developing regional center with increasing road connectivity and steady traffic flow. As a frontline representative, you will provide efficient fueling services to private vehicles, commercial transport, and daily commuters traveling across nearby cities and highways.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate fuel dispensers accurately to fill petrol or diesel as per customer requirements, ensuring correct quantity and zero errors.
• Handle cash, card, and UPI payments efficiently, maintaining accurate billing records and issuing receipts.
• Follow strict fire and safety protocols such as “No Smoking” and “Switch Off Engine” rules, and be prepared to handle emergency situations.
• Provide additional services like checking engine oil, maintaining tire air pressure, and cleaning windshields.
• Assist in monitoring fuel stock levels and support safe fuel tanker unloading operations.
• Greet customers politely and answer queries about fuel prices, offers, and services in a professional manner.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 8th/10th pass with basic reading and numerical skills.
• Good calculation ability for billing and handling cash transactions.
• Fluency in Hindi required (knowledge of Bundeli or local dialect is an advantage).
• Physically fit, honest, and attentive during busy hours.
• Basic knowledge of POS machines and digital payments is a plus.

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in petrol pumps, retail service, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Freshers willing to undergo safety and operational training are welcome.
